  1. The Notes are accompanied by the Panoramic Sketch of Athens, a lithographed panorama by Selina Bracebridge, 26 x 253 cm, folded to 26 x 19 cm. ['Sketched from nature and on zinc by Mrs. Bracebridge, May 1839.'].

  2. In addition to the new panoramic sketch of Athens, this pamphlet revises and compresses the text of BTW1027, the May 1836 version of the present entry. Many of the footnotes of the earlier text are eliminated altogether.
