Jane Harvey

Jane Harvey was probably born in Gateshead, daughter of James Harvey (b. c. 1738) and Jane Harvey, née Marshall. A Sentimental Tour was her first book, followed by Poems on Various Subjects (1797). She continued to publish poetry and novels and was for a time proprietor of a circulating library in Tynemouth.
